Frequently Asked Questions Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I order on-line or can I send my photos and payment by mail?

A. You may either order totally on-line or you can also print out our printable order form and send it along with your snapshots by fax (need number) or regular mail. Or, you can call us to place your order at 404-815-7440.

Q. How much do your custom portraits cost?

A. We offer a variety of sizes and options that affect pricing. Our Price List outlines the various options.

Q.What exactly is a digital print? What is Giclee technology?

A. Our medium is our computer. NoblePets Portraits are created from your snapshots on the computer. We offer our clients Giclee printing on either artist grade canvas or a smooth paper. These digital portraits look like paintings that took months to create. Giclee Printing is the highest quality digital ink jet printing available for fine artists today. The archival quality of these prints is much higher than the "standard" inkjet prints that most portrait artists offer. Giclee prints will last a lifetime.

Q. What is the difference between art canvas and smooth photo paper?

A. The Art Canvas simulates an actual painting because of the texture. Many people who choose this option will have the canvas stretched over a frame and hang it on the wall frameless, or they will put the canvas in a frame without glass, just like you would an actual oil painting. The smooth paper creates a beautiful and vivid finish but does not simulate an oil painting. Most people who choose this option will frame it behind glass. The looks are different and reflect the personal style of the pet owner.

Q.What does the image master production pricing include?

A. The pricing includes time for a graphic artist team to silhouette and refine your image (not a process you can “do yourself”—it is very tedious and intricate) so that it fits perfectly onto the body of your choice. Also the cost includes the license fee to the Artist for the original signed artwork.

Q. What does the image master file purchase option mean?

A. It means that you can own a CD containing the file of the Noblepets™ portrait you commissioned. This file can be sent to third parties specialized in producing addition customized merchandise you may want to purchase, such as mugs, T-shirts, Greeting cards, Stamps, calendar and so on. We also provide you with suppliers we have selected for you as the best for quality, price and customer service in the industry. If you have opted to purchase the master licensing rights of the image we have created for you, please be aware that such image contains elements (the Noblepets attire) copyrighted by Daniela RIA and Noblepets LLC. We are releasing the rights to its reproduction exclusively to you and for your exclusive usage ONLY. No sale or any commercial activity of such image (and/or its related merchandise) is authorized without breaking the licensing and copyright law. Violators will be persecuted.

Q. Do I need to handle these works with special care?

A. We encourage our clients to hang all of our portrait prints away from direct sunlight. Any fine art print or painting will fade over time when exposed to direct sun every day.

Q. Can you place more than one pet in a single painting?

A. Yes. There is an additional fee for each additional pet. Pets do not need to be in the same photo for us to place them together. Please contact customer service for more info.

Q. What is the best kind of snapshot to send? Should I make an enlargement?

A. A well-focused color photograph that is normal snapshot size will work fine. We will drop out the background and correct any red eye that might be present. Choose a shot that captures the personality of your pet. Check out our guide for taking good pet photographs.

Q. What do I need to know about professionally shot photography?

A. If you have a professional photograph you would like to send, you should consult with the photographer or the studio to attain a copyright release to send with the image.
